Once upon a time, a king had two wives. The first wife was old and the second wife was young. They loved the king, but the young wife was not happy because the king’s hair turned gray. “I don’t want an old husband,” said the young wife. “I am not his daughter.” Then, she pulled out some of his gray hair every night. The king wanted his young wife to be happy, so he didn’t stop her.
The old wife liked the king’s gray hair. “People stopped thinking I am the king’s mother,” said the old wife. She pulled out some of his black hair every morning. The king wanted his old wife to be happy, so he didn’t stop her.
Finally, the king didn’t have any hair. “We cannot please everyone,” said the king.
