his shirt 為次要子句的主詞其動詞為tuck

如果用動詞+ing則表示主動;動詞+ed表示被動或狀態的情況

一題義應該是表示當時Jason的情況

這類的考題已經有幾題了,tucking正在擠入,tucked已經擠入。
答案都是dressed, tucked。
雖然dressing 和tucking並沒錯,只是出題者要的是衣服的情況~

是分詞構句,原句可能為Jason walked into the classroom, and his shirt was tucked in.
分詞構句欲把連接詞and刪掉,be動詞was也刪掉,兩句主詞不同都要留著,加上是被動tucked也不變,故變成Jason walked into the classroom, his shirt tucked in.
