Dictogloss是以篇章爲基礎(text-based、以任務爲導向(task-oriented、以學習者爲中心(learner-centered的一種語言教學法。該方法綜合訓練學生聽、說、讀、寫四項基本技能,旨在幫助學生在學習外語時能夠獨立創建文本,同時培養學生交際能力與合作精神。適用於不同程度的學生學習某一主題情境下的詞彙和句法結構。

   Dictogloss又名Grammar Dictation,是由語言學家Ruth Wajnryb1990)提出的有別於傳統聽寫法的新型教學手段。國內學者對於Dictogloss的命名各不相同,其中使用頻率較高的有:整體聽寫法、聽記法、聽力重構、合作聽寫。

     就老師而言,dictogloss教學法易於準備,也是一種非常有效的語言學習工具,因爲它要求學習者傾聽、交談、協作、記筆記、重新編寫和口頭表達。
