根據LDOCE5的解釋：

the (great) outdoors : the countryside far away from buildings and cities

suburb : an area where people live which is away from the centre of a town or city

the (great) outdoors的countryside是指有遠離城市，而且有森林或平原的地區，而suburb僅只是遠離市中心的郊區，但可能還是有建築物。因此本題要露營當然是選有自然風景的前者較為妥適。
