下頷舌骨肌mylohyoid:為一薄且寬闊的肌肉，外側附著於下頷骨體內側緣的下頷舌骨肌線mylohyoid line，左右兩側肌肉於中央形成縫合raphe，並附著於舌骨。

頦舌骨肌geniohyoid:由下頷骨體內側靠近中央的小突起開始，附著於舌骨。收縮時可將舌骨往前上方提，縮短口腔底板。

二腹肌digastric muscle:有前、後兩個肌腹，中間為肌腱intermediate tendon，經由纖維環固定於舌骨上。其中前腹連接於下頷骨體內側靠近中線的小凹，後腹則連接於顳骨下方的乳突切跡mastoid notch
