這三個字都有升起/起來的意思 首先看 rise 和 raise 一般來說, 它們的分別是 :   rise 是 intransitive verb ( 不及物動詞, 後沒有 object 的 )   e.g.   The sun rises in the east.   He rose to welcome us.   raise 是 transitive verb  ( 及物動詞, 後有 object 的 )   e.g.   The landlord raised my rent.   Raise your hand before asking your questions. 所以     The price of this piano will rise ( NOT raise ) by 10%   He will raise ( NOT rise ) the price of this piano by 10%.      The stock price rises ( NOT raises )    The company want to raise ( NOT rise ) the stock price 但都有些例外的情況       raise without object       e.g. The window raises easily.   arise 是 intransitive verb 主要是解 : 抽象事情的發生起來, 如爭論、疑問等  ( 而 rise 比較偏重於某種東西的升起 ) e.g. A quarrel has arisen between them Between the copartners serious disagreements arose.   但有時 rise 和 arise 可以互換 e.g. I rise / arise at 7 am     The verb forms     raise, raised, raised, raising     rise, rose, risen, rising     arise, arose, arisen, arising
