BookCrossing is the act of passing a book on all over the world. That is, the world becomes a big library. Lovers of the same book can share the book and also their ideas about it.

After labeling it, you can pass the book on by leaving it in a public place, for example, on a park bench or in a coffee shop. When someone finds your book and is interested in reading it, he or she will take it, visit BookCrossing website and enter the ID of the book to show someone has taken it.

(C) People have used BookCrossing website since 2001.

Who first started BookCrossing? It was Ron Hornbaker. He thought of the idea in March 2001 and set up the website in April 2001.

(D) People will know where their books are and who reads them.

When someone finds your book and is interested in reading it, he or she will take it, visit BookCrossing website and enter the ID of the book to show someone has taken it. So when you go home and check the website, you'll know who is reading it.
