(A) As long as we work for a noble cause, we can reduce our anger and resentment even when we meet obstacles. (B) If we can arouse our awe and respect, we may find less anger and resentment. (C) Obstacles can inspire or upset us, depending on if we think they are noble or not. (D) What goes against our will is resentful and can often make us angry.
