so as to 的中文意思是指「爲了，以便…」等，在英文句子裡，so as to的用法跟in order to 的意思是一樣的，在文章中有時候會出現。
例：We took off our shoes so as to avoid scratching the newly finished floors.
我們脫掉鞋子，以免劃傷新鋪好的地板。
so as to後面不接句子而是動詞，但題目的括號後面是一個完整的句子，因此要選後面接句子的so that。
