Critical Period Hypothesis（生物關鍵期假説）指人類在兒童時期學習語言的能力較強，並在成人之後能力會減弱。所以在題目裏通常會考「成人之後失去」或者「孩提時期的易學性」。

 

A指的是Chomsky的innateness假説，關鍵字是innate knowledge。兩個假説之間最大的差異是，生物關鍵期假説強調過了青春期後人類學習語言的能力會下降。innateness假説沒有強調失去語言學習能力這一部分。

B指的是第一語言對第二語言的促進影響，更偏向跨語言學習，跟語言關鍵期比較無關。

D指的是成人學習語言的方式（使用演繹法來學習文法），跟語言關鍵期無關。
