        When I was a kid, I did not like to play the piano. My parents asked me to practice the piano every day, but I just (42) to go out and play with my classmates. 不定詞

所謂的「不定詞」，就是「to + 原形動詞」。

是指在句中有第二個動詞時，則須用「不定詞」的形式

在談到這個概念前，我們首先須得就「句中有第二個動詞時」的「句中」做個界定。

所謂的「句中」是指「同一個子句中」的意思。

也就是說，在同一個「子句」中，若有第二個動詞出現時，則該第二個動詞前，須得加 to。

1. I hope to be a great player.

2. They want to watch a ball game.

3. He wants to make friends with you.

4. She plans to go to Tainan by plane.

5. I'm lucky to have so many friends.

有些動詞後面一定是接「不定詞」，

want（人） to ...
need to ...
decide to ...
learn to ...
pla...
