on account of 可作修飾語和主詞補語, 作修飾語時修飾全句。 

due to 可以作修飾語和主詞補語, 後接名詞; 還可以表示應屬於, 應給予, 後接名詞; 還可表示定於, 通常指時間安排或車, 船的開行或到達時間, 後接原形動詞。 

owing to 一般用來修飾全句, 應和句子其他成分分開, 可放在句首, 句中或句尾。

thanks to 只作修飾語, 比較正式, 有感謝的含義, 所以有時表示多虧, 有時也含有貶意。

because of 一般不能引導形容詞片語作主詞補語, 所以前面不能用 be; because of 如果用作主詞補語, 其主詞通常是代表前述句子內容的 this, that, it 或表示強調。
