If there is one thing I dislike, it is dogs that bark late at night. An example is my neighbor’s dog across the street from me. 其實我覺得D也可，翻成中文的話

個人覺得，instead是與上句相反的結果(也可翻成但是)；consequently是有前因後果；gradually是漸進式，承接上句。
