Perhaps the oldest theories of the business cycle are those that link their cause to fluctuations of the harvest. Since crops depend upon soil, climate, and other natural factors that in turn may be affected by biological or meteorological cycles, such cycles will transmit their effects through the harvests to the rest of the economy.

我們要找一個字來指前面提到的"the oldest theories of business cycles"。為啥?因為後面那句"_______ that link their cause to fluctuations of the harvest."明顯缺了個主詞，而主詞是甚麼? 當然是"the oldest theories of business cycles"。所以我們要者的叫做"代詞"，代替那串東西的詞。   所以我們首先可以將A, B刪掉了，第一個不是代詞，第二個是代詞沒錯，但它指的東西超級多，範圍太大了，沒辦法成為"只指代the oldest theories of business cycles的代詞"。"them"是代詞且指代的東西是一個範圍，看起來沒錯，但them是"受"的代詞，啥意思? 我們看一下範例: "Kids these days have no one to tell them what's right and wrong." 沒人...
