The rest splint positions the hand in a functional or mid-joint position. Postoperative splinting may include a resting hand splint or a dorsal forearm-based static extension splint. When a resting hand splint is used, the wrist is placed in a neutral or slightly flexed position. The MCP, PIP, and DIP joints are splinted in full extension. 檢舉
