in hand 手頭上的、正在進行的、掌握住的

握在手裡的東西大部分都是自己可以掌握的對吧！所以這個意思比較好記
例句：The police took the situation in hand after ten minutes. 警方在十分鐘後掌握情況。
而另一個意思「正在進行」
小編則是跟進行式的 -ing 做聯想，都有 in 這樣比較好記。
