(A) Hamster polyomavirus
HAMSTER POLYOMAVIRUS (HaPyV) Hamster polyomavirus was first described in Germany in asso- ciation with spontaneous skin epitheliomas from which viral particles were later identified (Graffi et al., 1967).
Clinical Signs Hamsters with lymphoma will likely have signs that are dependent on the organ system infiltrated with disease, but generally signs include weight loss, dyspnea, and dehydration.
Palpable masses may be found upon examination. Hamsters with trichoepithelomas present with nodules within the cutis. The tumors may grow gradually and regress spontaneously (Barthold et al., 1987; Coggin et al., 1978).
倉鼠多瘤病毒先在德國被描述為與自發性皮膚上皮瘤相關，後來從中鑑定出病毒顆粒（Graffi 等，1967）。

(B) Hamster parvovirus
Infection in adult hamsters is typically subclinical. Young hamsters (2–4 weeks old) are most susceptible to HaPV. Affected hamsters are runted with incisior teeth abnormalites, domed craniums, small testicles, and a potbellied appearance (Gibson, 1983). Hemmorhagic disease has also been reported, causing diarrhea, ataxia, and mortality (Besselsen et al., 1999).
成年倉鼠的感染通常是亞臨床的。年輕的倉鼠（2-4 周大）最容易感染 HaPV。受影響的倉鼠身材矮小，門牙畸形、圓頂顱骨、小睾丸和大腹便便的外觀 (Gibson, 1983)。也有出血性疾病，會導致腹瀉、共濟失調和死亡（Besselsen 等人，1999）。

(C) Hamster adenovirus
Naturally occurring enteric adenovirus infection in hamsters, closely resembling infection with MAdVB in mice, is not associated with clinical disease and affects animals less than 24 days of age (Gibson et al., 1990). Adenoviral intranuclear inclusion bodies may be found in the intestinal epithelium in young hamsters.

(D) Lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus
Associated signs are central nervous system dysfunction and hindlimb paralysis. The virus may cause a lymphocytic infiltration in meninges, choroid plexi, ependyma, liver, and lungs.
