【已刪除】Nanotechnology is moving closer to our daily life. Researchers from the University of New South Wales, Australia, are developing a coating that may make cleaning bathrooms 41 of a chore. The leading researchers, Professors Rose Amal and Michael Brungs, are hoping to apply a tiny coating of titanium dioxide to keep the toilets clean. Currently titanium dioxide is being used on outdoor items 42 self-cleaning windows. To further keep the bathroom clean, nanoparticles kill the germs and remove organic compounds. 43 , the coating prevents liquid droplets from forming on the surface. It makes the liquid run off, 44 the toilet in the process. Exciting as this research project is, at this time it is currently only in development. The researchers 45 it will take about a year before it can be seen on the market.
