For the first time in recent decades Taiwan has been included by the U.S. State Department and has become a region where Chinese diplomats can be trained. Twenty elite college students from all over the United States started training at Tainan Singh University to conduct a eight-week intensive intensive training in language and culture. The State Department started the \"Key Linguistic Scholarship Program\" in 2006 and successively sent American students to learn languages and local cultures in various countries in summer so as to cultivate future foreign and political diplomatic professionals. In addition to language learning, Cheng Chinese Center also arranges students to learn Taiwanese dishes, carvings, tea ceremony and national drama courses.
