要點二：by oneself獨自一人、獨力地 by oneself有兩個意思，一是「獨自一人」，相當於alone，如：He often sits under the tree by himself.（他常獨自一人坐在這棵樹下。）此外，by oneself也可以表示「獨力地」，相當於on one΄s own，如：Timmy finished his homework by himself.（Timmy獨力完成他的家庭作業。）
