Referential Integrity Constraint 中文概意為參考性完整限制
假設兩個關聯R、S分別表示客戶與訂單
關聯S(訂單)參考至關聯R(客戶)，那麼則表示當訂單新增時相對應的鍵值需要在客戶資料中有所對應
意思為外來鍵(foreign key)的定義，確保資料具有一致性，不會有虛假的資料出現。
另外當客戶資料刪除時，可以進行聯級（Cascade）操作，選擇是否要將相對的訂單資料移除
大部分資料庫管理系統預設為不會把資料移除
