要點二：catch a cold感冒 cold在此作「傷風、感冒」解，其前面可以放的動詞計有：catch, have, get, come down with及take。其中只有take與cold之間不能加冠詞，必須說take cold。但若表示「得了重感冒」，take a bad cold的a又不能省，表示「重感冒」除了bad cold，還可以說heavy cold或severe cold。若是你想表達「被某人傳染了感冒」，那你可以說：catch one΄s cold，若是想講的是「把感冒傳染給某人」則說：give someone one΄s cold。
