          Good table manners are important for a pleasant dining experience. This guide follows Western table organization, which is commonly used in many countries. Begin by sitting up straight and placing your napkin on your lap. This shows readiness and respect for the meal. When using utensils, start from the outside and work your way in with each course. Use the fork on the left and knife on the right for the main course, holding them by their handles. For soups or salads, use the smaller utensils provided. Avoid resting your elbows on the table and keep your mouth closed while chewing. When finished, place your utensils neatly on your plate. Fold your napkin beside the plate, not on it. These simple practices ensure a pleasant dining experience and show respect for others at the table.
