Adventure (冒險) is like an exciting experience or journey. 

A venture (商業上的冒險) is an attempt at something, usually business related, but not always.

For example:

If we merge our two companies, it could be a very beneficial business venture (創業).

We got lost downtown after the party. It was quite the adventure.
