⑴ Mushrooms are not plants. As a species, they are categorized as the fungus. Edible mushrooms are rich in nutrients and they vary in type and function. Mushrooms also grow quickly: they do not expand by cell division. Instead, they grow by cell enlargement. That is the reason why we use “mushroom” as a verb to describe something that increases in large quantity over a short period of time.（20分）
