More than 30 films will be screened, and the festival also features panels, live music and workshops with filmmakers. Attendees will have a chance to speak with the famous directors after tomorrow’s screening and participate in a music workshop on Sunday. It is said that organizers wanted to put on the festival to redefine Hakka culture within a modern context, breaking from the traditional historic symbols and perceptions.
