一、英譯中：（20 分） Richard Nixon may well be the most controversial political personality in recent American history. He built his career on the most inflammatory issues of the day, from red-chasing in the 1940s to the Vietnam war in the 1960s, and Watergate episode ended his public life with the most explosive constitutional crisis in over a century. Ever combative and resourceful, he antagonized his enemies and cultivated his followers with unremitting energy and skill.
