Jimmy Liao, an illustrator, author, and artist extraordinaire, is the man behind Taiwan's “Jimmy Phenomenon.” While reading Jimmy’s picture books, you could easily enjoy nice little journeys of imagination because they would take you to places where you haven't seen before. In Jimmy’s picture books, there are no surprising plot-twists, no shocking endings, and no grand life lessons. Jimmy just  tells simple stories with his delicate drawings and poetic verses from his heart. His most known picture book, Turn Left Turn Right, was adapted into a feature film the first Chinese language movie “Warner Brothers Studio” ever produced. It’s the story of two potential lovers whose paths cross daily but have the misfortune of not being able to meet. It is an urban romance that conjures a sense of loneliness and of unknowing.
