由迦納(Howard Gardner)於1983年所提出來的。

他在1983年提出七種智慧

語文智慧 (linguistic intelligence)

邏輯數學智慧 (logical-mathematical intelligence)

空間智慧 (spatial intelligence)

肢體運作智慧 (bodily-kinesthetic intelligence)

音樂智慧 (musical intelligence)

人際智慧 (interpersonal intelligence)

內省智慧 (intrapersonal intelligence)

 

後來在1995年又加了第八項

自然觀察智慧 (naturalist intelligence)
