As Bandura (1973a) noted, most definitions of aggression imply that aggression revolves around
the behaviors and intentions residing within the perpetrator (or performer). Going a step further,
he suggests that an adequate definition of aggression must consider both the "injurious behavior"
of the perpetrator and the "social judgment"of the victim.
Thus, a soft poke in the belly  may qualify as aggression if it is both done derisively and
the recipient interprets it that way.
