  Question 1  : The Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 had been unanimously passed by U.S. Congress and took effect on Nov. 27, 2019, in which the U.S. government is required to impose sanctions against Chinese and Hong Kong officials who are responsible for human right violations in Hong Kong and to conduct annual review to decide whether the changing political environments in Hong Kong undermine the foundation of trade relations between the U.S. and Hong Kong. China Foreign Ministry spokesman responded that the act fully reveals the ill intentions of some people in the U.S. to mess up Hong Kong and contain China’s development. Did the U.S. interfere with or offend the China internal sovereignty?
