The latest research shows that although universities across the United States are still hesitant to open their classes, most universities are preparing for the decline in the number of international students. The American Association for International Education first conducted a survey of 599 universities in 50 states in the United States, asking them about the current new crown epidemic, summer and fall school plans, and then released the survey report. The association conducts a follow-up survey on the data of college students. The report pointed out that 74% of colleges and universities said they were not sure whether they would continue to carry out overseas study projects in the fall, but 70% of the surveyed colleges expected that some international students would not return to school after the start of the fall semester. These universities expect that about 16% of international students will not be able to study in person in the fall semester of this year.
