According to the latest research , although many universities in the united state hesitate to open the school , most of the university are preparing for international students reduction. USA international education association  conduct a research on 599 universities from 50 states in USA by asking about their next semester plan in summer and autumn under COVID-19 impact  and release the report afterward. The association trace the university students info , the report shows that 74%  high schools are not sure about to keep the oversea learning projects but 70% high school been interviewed predict some oversea student won’t come back to school. Those high school estimate that approximately 16% international student wont able to come to school in person.

The association conducts a follow-up survey on the data of college students. The report pointed out that 74% of colleges and universities said they were not sure whether they would continue to carry out overseas study projects in the fall, but 70% of the surveyed colleges expected that some international students would not return to school after the start of the fall semester. These universities expect that about 16% of international students will not be able to study in person in the fall semester of this year.
