In the latest Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report published by World Economic Forum in 2013, said that Taiwan’s tourism industry is growing stably. Taiwan’s tourism ranking is 33rd in the world, which is an improvement of 4 places from 2011, it is ranked 7th in the Asia-Pacific region. In Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report published once every two years by the World Economic Forum, it investigated 140 countries, evaluated publicly available information, international tourism organizations, and tourism experts’ resources, and combined the annual experts’ opinion from World Economic Forum and make a final decision. According to Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index, the top 10 countries in the global tourism competition are Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Canada, Sweden, and Singapore; Taiwan ranks 33rd. The progress of Taiwan is gratifying.
