32. Teaching subject courses in a bilingual way (i.e., Mandarin Chinese and English) has been implemented in many senior high schools over the past few years in Taiwan. It is hoped that students can learn the subject content and get more exposure to English in such bilingual classes. In your opinion, what is the role of an English teacher in a subject (other than English) that is conducted in both Mandarin Chinese and English? What can an English teacher do to help the subject teacher prepare an effective bilingual course?
