I. Composition (40 points) Advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation will transform our world. A two-year study from McKinsey Global Institute suggests that by 2030, intelligent agents and robots could eliminate as much as 30 percent of the world's human labor. Despite the fears and concerns, some people remain optimistic, believing that when particular tasks are automated, more human workers would be required for other functions in the process. In fact, optimists argue that AI and automation can free human beings to pursue careers that give us a greater sense of meaning and well-being.
