Loyal members of the armed forces are struggling against those whose amoral leaders demonstrated their lack of respect for life and freedom with such abundant clarity. Now more than ever, the number 911 represents both emergency and rescue. And these heroes have proven conclusively that we can and will fight through any adversity to save the American dream of liberty and brotherhood.

Don't let “*uglification*,” a word coined by Lewis Carroll, be defined in the dictionary with a photo of Taiwan! Instead of making Taiwan an uglier place, why not choose to beautify her? You know, you and I can make a real difference. If we just decide to think of Taiwan with love, as our homeland, and not just politically, as a nation on a map, there is bound to be a natural change in our day-to-day actions. All that is required is the desire to proclaim, with pride, that ours is the most beautiful island on Earth.
